| Kia ora
tatou - Welcome to New Zealand Wowee... Less than a month to go before we get to welcome you all to Windsor. The plans are all starting to fall into place and we hope that you will all have a great time when you arrive. The Leader of each Unit has been sent a copy of our newsletter and by the wonders of the web, you can download it too - just click here. As you will see we are planning a number of activities in the sub-camp to supplement the main events, plus there will be a place where you can just sit and chat. One of the characteristics of the New Zealanders is their willing ness to "give it a go" and we hope you will too, be it taking part in the talent contest, showing off some of your national culture or just walking up to a stranger and saying "Hi!". If you are really lucky, you might even bump into Colin and Sammi, the sub-camp mascots. We hope that all your final preparations go to plan and you have a safe journey to WINGS. We'll be waiting to say Kia Ora! Everyone at WINGS2003 who is aged 14-18 can be part of the New Zealand Sub-Camp even if they are based in another sub-camp or part of the WINGS Staff Team. The following units will be based in New Zealand

A warm welcome from the sub-camp team of New Zealand. We are all very excited about having so many campers from around the world and look forward to meeting with you all. As you can see from our photo we are the usual mix of leaders from both Guiding and Scouting and hope to make your visit as enjoyable and memorable as possible. If you have any questions about the sub-camp, please e-mail them to us. We can't guarantee to have an answer straight away, but we will "give it a go" as they say in NZ! |
