 The Roger King International Concorde Centre provided a centre for displays on Scouting 2007, GirlguidingUK, international units, distinguished visitors as well as a comfort zone for unit leaders and other weary souls.

Roger King was County Commissioner for Berkshire during the period when the WINGS Vision was launched and realised in 1993. He was very instrumental in working with  Berkshire Guides to move WINGS from an idea to reality. Sadly he died earlier this year (2003)
