Global Development Village

The Global Development Village forms part of the WINGS Experience and provides a real opportunity for young people to see the world as many others see it.

The Global Development Village (GDV) will be packed with all sorts of activities. The GDV Programme is growing by the day. Amongst the partners will be "Feed the Children".

The WINGS team are pleased to be working with the charity "Feed the Children" which will be involved in the WINGS Programme both before and during the camp. "Feed the Children" have their Head Office and Aid Supply Centre in Berkshire and "work worldwide to develop sustainable communities and provide food and other necessities for those in great need". SEBEV will be working with the WINGS Team in the provision of the Camp Medical Centre and emergency planning. Within the GDV they will be offering first response training to adult leaders.

Adult leaders will have the opportunity  to gain new skills and programme ideas.
